Fumex is expanding its filter range with the CMF 300 – a mobile, cleanable filter unit designed to capture and filter welding fumes and metal particles directly at the source. Stable airflow as the filter becomes contaminated
The CMF 300 is equipped with an energy-efficient IE5 EC motor and integrated constant airflow control. The system automatically compensates for increasing filter contamination, ensuring stable airflow during operation.
The filter unit delivers an airflow of up to 1,200 m³/h. The top-mounted extraction arm has a low pressure drop, provides a maximum working radius of 2,900 mm and features a hood designed to capture welding fumes effectively.
Cleanable filter cartridge with PTFE membrane
The high-performance filter cartridge provides a filter area of 14 m² and is made from pleated polyester material with a PTFE membrane. The filter unit achieves a filtration efficiency of over 99% for fumes and dust generated during welding and is designed in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO 21904-1:2020 (W3 certification pending from IFA).
The filter cartridge is cleaned using an integrated rotating cleaning nozzle that is manually connected to a compressed-air supply. Dust particles released from the filter fall into the dust container. If the airflow becomes too low, the CMF 300 provides both an audible alarm and an LED warning light on the control panel.
Compact and easy to operate
The CMF 300 features an intuitive control panel for starting, stopping and adjusting the airflow. Its compact dimensions, together with swivel and lockable castors, make the filter unit easy to move and position, even in confined workshop environments.
In the standard configuration, the sound level is 64 dB(A) at minimum speed. The optional silencer reduces the sound level by a further 3 dB(A).
The CMF 300 can also be equipped with accessories including a work light, spark arrestor and extension hose.
