It is easy to think that concepts such as sustainability are just about the climate. At Fumex, we have a more holistic view of sustainability, which affects everything from our way of being and acting to the choices we make. Of course, the products play a central role in our work, but we have chosen to focus on sustainability from several perspectives. Only then can we seriously shoulder the role of a trust-inspiring manufacturer and employer.

Good profitability and a strong financial position are important factors in creating the conditions for long-term sustainable development. Offering decent working conditions is of course a matter of course within Fumex.

We also prioritize health, gender equality and diversity, as well as employee participation and opportunities for development. We systematically conduct work environment work (AFS 2001: 1) for safer workplaces where we actively work to reduce airborne pollution, noise, dust and waste.

In our quest to preserve nature and contribute to a circular and sustainable society, we work continuously to adapt our operations to the environment. When a completely new product is developed and designed, we take into account the choice of material and how it can affect the environment. No product should contain environmentally or health hazardous substances if it can be avoided and recyclable materials are given priority. Energy-saving properties are always prioritized and the goal is to exceed efficiency requirements. In the machines' manuals, we provide information on how the product should be used to extend its service life.

We also use modern environmental technology and renewable energy from Skellefteå Kraft (district heating with biomass and hydropower) so that our production becomes more efficient and has a lower environmental impact.

We work continuously to investigate, develop and follow up our operations in order to minimize negative environmental impact.

We also place as high demands on others as ourselves. Therefore, we also work to ensure that our suppliers of goods and services examine their own environmental impact and minimize their negative environmental effects. Cycling thinking and prevention of environmental disturbances must be present in all processes and an effort to exceed the legal, regulatory and standard requirements imposed on our operations. We must also constantly improve our operations by sensitively following developments in the environmental field and embracing and using new ones
environmentally friendly products.

By manufacturing high quality products, which have both a longer service life and better function, we contribute to improving our customers 'competitiveness and economy, but also the end customers' working environment is improved, which means increased health, quality and economy.

We also work to ensure that all production of parts included in our products takes place as close to Skellefteå as possible to avoid unnecessary transport. When products are produced abroad, we make demands on good working conditions and working environment there as well.

We also work to ensure that our suppliers of goods and services examine their own environmental impact and minimize their negative environmental effects.

At Fumex, we also minimize our transport volume through smart product solutions. The products are packaged with recycled corrugated cardboard that can be easily recycled after transport. In addition, larger goods are always delivered on approved EUR pallets that are reused.

We also work to constantly improve our business by being responsive and following developments in the environmental field, and in this way embrace and use new environmentally friendly products.
