The need

Sara and Åsa run Clear laserklinik, offering treatments such as tattoo removal, pigmentation and vascular treatments, and the removal of skin lesions. Some procedures, such as the removal of spots, warts or moles, produce an odour. This affects the client experience, as well as Sara and Åsa’s own working environment, as they spend every day in the treatment rooms.

The solution

Clear chose two FUMEX ME PP extraction arms, one for each treatment room, together with a duct fan. The extraction captures air directly at source, before the odour has a chance to spread through the room.

The arms are ceiling-mounted using MTI ceiling brackets, which also serve as extract air ducts. This avoids the need for separate ductwork and additional openings through the suspended ceiling, making installation simpler and more aesthetically pleasing. Because Clear rents its premises, the building façade also had to remain untouched. A duct fan provided a solution the property owner could approve. It is a familiar situation for many tenants in the beauty and skincare sector.

The arm is easy to move into position during a treatment and simple to fold away when not needed. The equipment operates at a very low noise level in the clinic, an important detail in an environment where tranquillity is part of the treatment experience.

Design mattered / Extraction that looks right at home
